Koukounaries beach is the nearest beach in Agustera Bar, so i am going to start this topic for all of you that are in love with this exotic and unique beach.
so here are some facts about Koukounaries Beach
1. Koukounaries beach was chosen to be the 3rd most beautiful beach in the world
2. The pine trees (koukounaries) that are in the sand and provide this unigue beauty to the beach, are usually grown away from the sea, and that here in skiathos is the only place that you will see that! Though this is due to the lake that exist behind the beach and provides the trees with all the clear water they demand to grow.

The best way to enjoy kouk beach is early morning and at the harbour end.
That is how we first found agustera!

We left the beach mid afternoon as the ferries started to come in and we were desperate for refreshment(the heatwave - June 2007)!

It became a regular stop off on the way back from kouk or even when we had been to eleni beach we passed our hotel to visit.

We are back this year and will deffinately be calling at agustera.
